The aim is to stimulate creativity, promote the French language, and strengthen the sense of belonging to our beautiful region, while offering a unique and fun writing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How to participate<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To participate, simply write a 300- to 400-word text. The story must be told in the first person, from the perspective of an animal, mineral, or plant in Vaudreuil-Soulanges. A river, tree, rock, bird, or even an insect can become the narrator and reveal the region from an unexpected angle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three categories are available this year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">16 and under<br>17 and over<br>Collective text<br>Texts must be sent in PDF or Word format by 1:00 p.m. on March 26, 2026, to the following email address: lamagie.comquat.concours@gmail.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See the complete rules here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-secondary-color has-primary-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/comquat.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Reglement_Concours2026.pdf\"><strong>Contest rules 2026<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prizes to be won<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By participating, authors have the chance to win one of the following prizes per category:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1st prize: $1,000<br>2nd prize: $500<br>3rd prize: $250<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The jury also reserves the right to award various participation prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The results will be announced on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
